DWIGHT ROBERTS
has served as project manager and shop supervisor with the company since
1993. His job is to oversee all facets of project construction-- from mechanical
design and architecture to production and finishing. In his 5 years with
the Chiodos, Dwight has not only helped bring to life hundreds of animatronic
characters, but also designed C.A.P.S., a proprietary Computer-Aided-Puppeteering-System
that allows one puppeteer (verses five) to operate the company's sophisticated
animatronic creations.
Dwight is a graduate of Franklin Institute in Boston and a Navy veteran, having served seven years submarine duty where he honed his skills in electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics. Prior to CBFX he worked with Academy Award winning effects artists Carlo Rambaldi and Rick Baker. |
